About the speakers
Cristian Lincovil Belmar
Executive Officer for Secondary Vocational Education at the Chilean Ministry of Education. Cristian is an Industrial engineer from the Catholic University of Chile and Master of Education - Social Justice Education at OlSE. He had worked in the field of Vocational Education and Training for more than a decade, as a practitioner, researcher, and policymaker, leading the team behind the first TVET strategy of the country in 2018. Currently, he is in charge of the definition and deployment of policies aimed at vocational high schools in Chile.
Miski Peralta Rojas
Chief of the Higher Vocational Education Division at the Chilean Ministry of Education. Miski is a Sociologist and Master in Management and Public Policy from the University of Chile, and a PhD (c) in Sociology at the Catholic University of Chile. She has been a lecturer in research methods at the University of Chile, and her areas of expertise include sociology of education, research methods, and policy evaluation. She has worked for the National Institute of Statistics (INE) and for the non-governmental sector. Currently, she is in charge of the definition and deployment of policies aimed at higher vocational education in Chile.
