12:25:38 Okay. So the recording is on. Just wanna double check that, yes. Okay, so welcome everybody. 12:25:48 Welcome to the first winter session of the restorative reset. I'm Jen Barati. 12:25:54 I just appreciate everybody taking the time to follow medical advice and do whatever they need to do during wellness sessions with us and just know that there's always, a possibility to reach out. 12:26:10 There's always support through the OZI community. You can even reach out to me before or beyond the practices. 12:26:17 Know that there's local community networks like the ones listed here and on the OZI website. And then always know that you can reach out to left ones. 12:26:24 There's always support. 12:26:27 And then it just really appreciate people creating. A safe container for our sessions. So we did have some technical difficulties but we do plan to always start on time. 12:26:38 And feel free if you come in person you can come in and have your lunch if that's what you need to do to settle in more comfortably. 12:26:47 And then when you come in, you can come on a match or come on a chair or come in any way that would bring you to more ease and be able to settle more into the practice. 12:26:58 Okay. And the sessions, welcome are inspired by and informed by irest Integrated Restoration, which comes from a yoga perspective and from non-dualism. 12:27:12 So it's this interconnectedness that we have with everyone and everything all around. So it's not just a philosophy. 12:27:17 It's an experience and it's not just even actually in experience, it's actually a way of being. 12:27:22 Okay. And then always trying to an interweave trauma-informed practices. So with predictability, we'll be holding these sessions at 1220. 12:27:31 And just knowing that we'll have the same structure of an opening as well as a closing at the end with a little bit of a discussion with an IRS practice and a little bit of gentle movement. 12:27:44 So welcome. There's always choice. So everything's an invitation. Whatever resonates for you, you bring that in. 12:27:51 You can allow my words to fall away and invite whatever words feel right at this moment. Also a sense of control. 12:27:59 So feeling free to adjust or modify practices according to what your body needs at this moment. So always tuning in. 12:28:06 And then cultural sensitivity. It's a secular practice. So just make it your own. 12:28:12 Whatever honors you, whatever honors your background or your lived experience, feel free to bring that in. 12:28:17 And I'm going to share some resources here. So this is the resources page. We would normally have that. 12:28:22 Presenting on the big screen, but we weren't able to do that today. So feel free to go onto the website. 12:28:28 Just gonna adjust this. I'm just sharing with everybody on online the different, resources we have. 12:28:36 So there's This page, which is the restorer to reset resource page. And it has all the different links. 12:28:43 That you can go to for, different wellness sessions, as well as those links I showed you for, any local networks, for further help. 12:28:54 And then. I'm hoping to continue this year, beginning with reminding everybody that you can practice, some of the things we did last year. 12:29:04 There are the past recordings. So there's the days review. In the days review, that was one of the. 12:29:11 Meditations we did at the beginning of the year and it was just taking time to reflect on the entire day. 12:29:17 And just inviting any feeling of unfinished. Unfinished events or work. And then feeling it in the body. 12:29:25 And in the mind and the heart and feeling the completion of these events. So, you can find that again on the recording. 12:29:32 The days review. Another practice we did last year was gratitude practice. So that was bringing attention to a left one, maybe even yourself. 12:29:41 And just remembering what you're grateful for, noticing what's arising as you feel into gratitude. 12:29:47 Noticing any perceptions. Any sensations or emotions or thoughts. And then experiencing the feeling of gratitude in the body. 12:29:55 So this again is another practice you could do any time of day and during the day or at night. Bringing in gratitude. 12:30:04 And the final one we were talking about was the inner resource tool. So this is fundamental in irres, yoga, and meditation, integrated restoration, which is what we're doing during these sessions. 12:30:15 For the winter sessions. And it's a tool to bring us back to ease and okayness. Just using the census. 12:30:21 And then feeling in the body. You can use this tool at any moment in life, perhaps even feel more self regulated. 12:30:29 And then being able to meet all the changing events in life moment to moment. So we're going to do that practice again today. 12:30:35 And then you'll also find on the resource page any upcoming sort of summits that might be helpful. 12:30:41 So there's a bunch coming up. In January there's one that's finishing tomorrow. 12:30:46 It's the embodiment festival. So again that idea of experiencing meditation and embodying it as a practice. 12:30:52 There's the art of meditation global summit that starts in a few days and goes on to the end of January. 12:30:59 So a lot of well known speakers. For this one. And then another one for the Trauma Super Conference. 12:31:07 So we just had one, a lunch and learn with Shelley Murphy about trauma sensitive trauma sensitivity and mindfulness. 12:31:14 So this might be a really good summit to attend as well. 12:31:19 And then if anybody wants to share before we begin, if there's anything that you've experienced over the holidays with any of the practices that you might want to share. 12:31:29 You can bring that in. 12:31:33 Otherwise, feel free to reach out to me on my email. Through, or through my website and we can always, chat then. 12:31:43 So as you're right, I'm going to stop sharing the screen. I'm gonna be guiding you through an inner resource practice using irest. 12:31:51 Just maybe inquiring into each offering, just being curious. Seeing what lands. See what feels perfect and whole. 12:32:01 And then allowing my words to come in or just to float away. Just staying with the felt sense in the body. 12:32:08 You'll be guided by my voice. And feel free to come into any comfortable position. So maybe seated or moving. 12:32:16 Or maybe lying down. All possibilities are welcome, falling asleep. Resting or maybe completely alert and awake or something in between. 12:32:27 And of course, if there's any discomfort, feel free to open the eyes gently, maybe ground the feet or find gentle movement in the body. 12:32:35 The invitation throughout today this week and until we meet again. Is perhaps intentionally practice feeling into the inner resource through daily review or maybe if you gratitude practice. 12:32:47 Any other mindfulness or meditation practice that you might do? Or even when you remember throughout the day to come back to the feeling being a resource of okayness ease. 12:32:59 So as you're ready, maybe let's complete our time now with this IRS meditation. 12:33:04 To start by settling in. Whatever that looks like in this moment. 12:33:12 Just finding a comfortable resting position. 12:33:17 With eyes gazing or. Opened or closed. 12:33:25 And if there's any residue of the day, for this week so far. Maybe even imagining tucking it away. 12:33:34 Maybe gently laying it down or. Placing it in a drawer. 12:33:41 Just recognizing you came back to it later. Maybe feeling ready and more refreshed. 12:33:52 So maybe taking your time and just allowing the census to explore. 12:34:00 Freed all around. 12:34:05 Maybe welcoming sensations of the body. Teaching various textures or surfaces that it's resting on. 12:34:17 Maybe even being able to let go a little bit more. 12:34:25 Be opening up to the spaces all around. 12:34:29 Without needing to attach or detach. They just noticing. 12:34:38 Caressive air on the skin. 12:34:45 Any hints of color. Or light or shadows. 12:34:59 Can he sounds? Maybe coming from the body itself. 12:35:07 Or inside or outside of the room. 12:35:12 Not needing to fix or change anything. Really just noticing. 12:35:21 Noticing any taste or any sense in the air. 12:35:28 If anything comes into perception, maybe just notice how it unfolds naturally. 12:35:35 And dissipates in its own time. 12:35:40 Without needing to fix or change anything. 12:35:47 And as you're ready, maybe allowing the body to make any final adjustments. To feel greater ease and okayness in the body. 12:35:58 During irest. Why don't you greet every experience as a messenger? Or pointer. Everything unfolding just as it is. 12:36:19 Just taking your time maybe to start to reflect upon the heart's deepest desire. 12:36:27 Your why in the world. 12:36:32 Maybe your contribution or purpose for this lifetime. 12:36:43 Experiencing and affirming the felt sense. 12:36:49 Is that you're already living and expressing it. But the entire body. At this very moment. 12:37:04 Reflect upon an intention. 12:37:09 Why for this moment or practice? 12:37:16 One that might support you in realizing your heartfelt desire. 12:37:27 Perhaps an intention for inviting the feeling of inner resource. Of volcanoes and ease. At any moment in life. 12:37:41 Whatever feels right or resonates for you. Bring that in. 12:37:50 Remembering and fully welcoming this intention. 12:37:54 Whole body in mind. 12:38:05 At your own pace might you start to welcome the inner resource. 12:38:10 A safe haven. Or refuge. 12:38:16 And oasis. 12:38:24 Supports you in feeling safe and secure. 12:38:29 Okay and at ease. At a moment's notice. 12:38:37 Perhaps connecting through imagery. 12:38:43 Enlivened by the 5 senses. 12:38:52 Maybe a place in nature. 12:39:01 Or familiar place. 12:39:08 Perhaps a memory. 12:39:14 Or imagery of a loved one. 12:39:20 And it's also acceptable if there's no images at all. 12:39:27 Maybe allowing my words to guide you. 12:39:31 Or allowing them to float away. 12:39:37 Bringing in whatever resonates for you. 12:39:46 Perhaps connecting to the inner resource with all the senses. 12:39:52 Maybe an imagery of a place in nature. 12:39:58 Snow filled forest. 12:40:04 Glistening icicles. 12:40:09 Light through the trees. 12:40:15 There's other perceptions coming in, feel free to just notice. How they unfold. And dissipate. 12:40:23 Their own time. 12:40:30 Maybe noticing an earthy scent in a place in nature. 12:40:38 Cool wind. 12:40:43 Wrestling branches. 12:40:49 Nature sounds. 12:40:57 Maybe connecting to the inner resource. With a memory using all the senses. 12:41:06 Traveling with a loved one. 12:41:11 Laughter. 12:41:17 Wandering along white sandy beaches. 12:41:25 Wave slapping along the shoreline. 12:41:34 Salty air. 12:41:40 Warmth of the sun. 12:41:46 Refreshing breeze. 12:41:56 Perhaps words connect you to this unchanging inner resource. 12:42:05 Feel free to invite any words that feel important. Or ring true. 12:42:12 For letting them just float away. 12:42:20 Secure. 12:42:25 Connected. 12:42:32 At ease. 12:42:40 Okay. 12:42:48 Comfortable. 12:42:54 Well being. 12:43:00 Being. 12:43:05 Inviting whatever words resonate for you. 12:43:10 And if there's no words. This too is a perfect experience. 12:43:17 Staying with whatever is most calling for attention. 12:43:25 And welcoming the inner resources of felt sense in the body. 12:43:32 What do you feel the inner resource unfolding? 12:43:40 Yeah, I's a release of tension in the muscles. 12:43:46 The belly. 12:43:50 Shoulders. 12:43:56 The hinges of the jar. 12:44:03 My it feel like breath. Flowing freely throughout the body. 12:44:14 Or perhaps the lack of sensation. 12:44:19 Complete release. 12:44:24 Spaciousness in the body. 12:44:30 Recognizing and affirming. You can return to the inner resource at any time. 12:44:38 During the Iris practice. 12:44:41 And in everyday life. 12:44:45 Whenever you feel the need for being secure. 12:44:50 Safe. 12:44:53 Okay and at ease. 12:44:59 Taking time to be with the feeling of inner resource of well-being. 12:45:08 Hello, my words to be your words. There's a tension gently flow through the body. 12:45:17 Without needing to shift or soften. 12:45:23 Feeling the entire way. 12:45:31 Jaw and Mel. 12:45:38 Dissolving for the nose. 12:45:44 Through each ear as sensation. 12:45:52 Dissolving through the eyes. 12:45:59 Forehead. 12:46:04 Even as other perceptions might come in. 12:46:08 Just noticing. Without needing to judge or analyze. 12:46:18 As everything dissipates in its own time. Back to where it came from. 12:46:28 Attention resting on the entire face and head as sensation. 12:46:38 Following sensation throughout the body. 12:46:45 Just with curiosity, not needing to attach or detach. 12:46:54 The tension resting on the unified face. Head and body as sensation. 12:47:08 And the body breathing itself. 12:47:14 Changing sensations, revealing something unchanging. 12:47:24 If it feels okay, maybe just take a brief moment to notice if there's any other messengers arising. 12:47:33 Anything calling for attention? 12:47:39 Just feel the way. 12:47:47 Not needing to attach or detach. 12:47:51 Just noticing where is it rising in the body. 12:47:58 And if helpful interweaving the inner resource of being and well being. 12:48:09 Feeling back into the body. 12:48:17 And when you're ready. Just staying with whatever feels the most ease and okay. Letting everything else dissolve. 12:48:25 Back to where it came from. 12:48:33 Dissolving back to unchanging awareness. Containing everything and everyone. 12:48:41 Pure being, which you also are. 12:48:50 Just taking a moment maybe to notice if any joy appears in the body. 12:48:55 Independent of anything and anyone. 12:49:01 Feeling through the heart's face. 12:49:09 Noticing how joy is also a changing sensation. 12:49:15 Revealing something unchanging. 12:49:19 Pure being. 12:49:23 Which you also are. 12:49:32 Just taking the time to transition back into waking life. Maybe there's a few more things left to do. 12:49:40 Perhaps feeling a bit more refreshed and ready. 12:49:45 Might you welcome the census to explore once again. 12:49:51 Just noticing the surfaces that have been supporting you. 12:49:57 The space is all around. 12:50:03 Does the eyes maybe starting to gently open and close several times? Integrating this experience into waking life. 12:50:13 Maybe allowing the toes and fingers to find movement. All the while staying with this felt sense of inner resource. 12:50:24 Of okayness and ease. At any moment in life. 12:50:31 Feeling this unchanging awareness in which everything and everyone is arising. 12:50:39 Just take your time as you move back into everyday life. With eyes wide awake. Great for taking this time together. 12:50:48 And the practice of virus. Thank you so much. I just wanted to invite you to some physical movement if that's helpful for you. 12:50:56 I was like to end with a little bit of physical movement. So perhaps. If you want to, we can just take a wide, in the legs, you can be lying down just wide and really opening up, coming to extension. 12:51:09 So opening up the chest, we tend to forward fold a lot so this might feel nice. And then when you're ready, let's do the opposite. 12:51:14 If you can come into more like a ball. Maybe coming into hugging yourself, maybe the legs together. 12:51:20 Just feeling the contraction, the rounding of the back with in tension. 12:51:25 And then again, if this feels are taken wide and one more time, open up the chest. Any other movement that feels right in the body? 12:51:33 Might even wiggle the fingers, maybe wiggle the toes. We have so many little muscles in the body, maybe making fists with the feet and the hands. 12:51:41 Maybe a allowing the wrists in the ankle to move. And then one more time with intention, maybe finding that rounding. 12:51:48 So these opposites that we have in the body, even the neck might release. So see if that feels good. 12:51:55 And then you're ready just starting to open back up. 12:51:59 If there's any final movements you want to bring in, feel free to bring them in. I really appreciate you. 12:52:05 Making the time and we will be back every week for the whole winter session. Thank you. Is there anything that anybody wanted to comment or share?
